Love. . . and a Little Torture is a semi-improvisational danced performance based on Sam Shephard's "Fool for Love." Five performers swap and share the three original roles from the play, creating a drunken multiverse of possibilities that remains constrained by the toxic cycle of obsession and abuse at the story's core. What is the line between love and hate? Is there any space between push and pull? And is there possibility for redemption after harm?
