From the opening view of the many dioramas on the back wall of the theater to the absolutely terrific collaboration with the musician Eric Weidenhof, and the gutsy dancing of the performers, there was much to be “contained” - review by Susan Gillis

An evening-length dance work for 8 movers, inspired by how humans define and curate the natural, animal, and wild. Inspired by the strange assortment of creatures found in natural history museums, dancers evolve from insects to animals, from humans to monsters, myths, and beyond.  Contained explores our relationship to the untamed.
