The Invisible Jazz Labs (3 of 4)
I'm joining the Ellipses Condition as a dancer in this experimental lecture series. As two scientists share short explanations of their research the improvisational artists of the lab will be illustrating and interpreting their ideas through dance, visual art, music, and poetry. It's one of the most fun and unusual projects I've ever been apart of.

Sex Werque is a one-woman show about working as a stripper in Pittsburgh. Choreographer Moriah Ella Mason explores how we perform eroticism and consume intimacy, both in the club and at home. Through theater and dance, she unpacks the world of sex work: the emotional and economic forces, the movement vocabulary, the masks, and the moments of authentic connection.
Mason is joined by collaborating sound artists J.F. Winkles and Eric Weidenhof, video artist Liz Barentine, and the voices and expertise of other sex workers.
